Who knew these would be so easy!
Start by bringing 1 cup milk just to boil, then turn off and add 2 Tablespoons of sugar.
Let that rest and cool of while you get 1/4 cup oil,
And 3 cups all purpose flour;
Dissolve .25 oz yeast in 120 degree water;
Add the warm milk then the oil, then the flour and then the yeast /water mixture.
Add 3 more cups of bread flour, and 1 teaspoon of salt, using a dough hook kneed for five minutes.
Turn into an oiled bowl cover and let double.
Punch down and roll out about 1/2 inch thick.
Cut with a 3 inch biscuit cutter.
On a warm, oiled griddle,
lay out your muffins sprinkle with cornmeal,
and cook on low for 10 minutes
each side.
I an going to make the best mcmuffin ever tomorrow!!
